Vanarin Kuck, former pastry chef at Houston’s Tiny’s Boxwoods and contestant on Top Chef: Just Desserts has recently announced plans to open Koffeteria at 1110 Hutchins St. With plans to launch in the fall, the cafe and bakeshop is already drawing attention for their planned offerings of pastries, sorbet, croissants, and more.

Kuck has announced plans to draw upon his Cambodian heritage and Houston’s international culture to create unique flavor combinations. Think beef pho croissants and Hot Cheetos-crusted croissants.
